Customer Service Trainer

GENERAL SUMMARY

This is a cross functional role responsible for user training and curriculum development, small to mid size project management and analysis of data related to projects in Customer Service, Dispatch and Marketing. This position will develop, organize, conduct, and evaluate internal training programs for assigned business units.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and update, New Hire Training Documentation. This could include edits to materials based on feedback received after classes are conducted.
  • Help drive Customer Service, and overall Neopost USA, to a more Customer Centric focused effort.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills of users within Oracle, Siebel, AS400 and other Neopost USA systems.
  • Participate as a member of the Customer Services management team to provide input and execute on projects and department direction
  • Manage small to mid size cross functional projects including project tracking and participant follow-up
  • Assist Business Integration Manager with user testing related to system enhancements
  • Provide support to department managers with the analysis of current processes, identify potential improvements and assist with execution of those improvements
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that will reduce department costs and/or streamline department workflow
  • Participate in special assignments as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with good organization and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
  • Minimum 4 years experience as a corporate trainer
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels
  • Ability to effectively design, develop and deliver curriculum
  • Strong web based training development skills
  • Strong coaching / counseling techniques; ability to set standards and practices to achieve the highest quality work
  • Strong proficiency with Internet, Windows-based PC, intermediate to advanced skills and understanding of and Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Oracle or Siebel with ability to learn both
  • Web or online curriculum development (Captivate or similar software)
  • Project Management Skills
